Guardrails can assembled by using two sections of R01 Channelgrip as top and bottom rails, which sandwich lengths of 3/4" thick, A13 baluster which can be cut to any length to achieve the desired guardrail height.
The balusters sit in the R01 channel, and are held in place by pre-cut lengths of A16 Insert. These can be cut to any length required, they need to be 3 1/4" long to achieve the maximum spacing of 4" as specified by the ADA.
The insert and balusters slide into place, and are held by a SA7 screw at the closing end. If there is not enough space to use the A16 slide-in insert for the final piece, the A08 clip-in insert can be used.
The Top Rail is fixed to the top of the R02 Schedule 40 posts with a B04 T-bracket:
The Bottom Rail is fixed to the side of the R02 Schedule 40 posts with a T04 T-connector and C00 Collar:
The guardrail has also be used on sloped surfaces, with the C00 Collar being replaced with an angled collar and the insert and baluster lengths being adjusted accordingly.
